Summer Feast Days
Summer is also a beautiful time of the year, although it can get quite hot. Fresh fruit and veggies are usually plentiful along with Yahweh's sunshine during the longer days. There is one special time in the summer (other than Yahweh's Sabbath, which comes every week). This day is called "Feast of Weeks" or some call it "Pentecost" (because it means "fifty"). Here are a few verses talking about this special day:
Leviticus 23:15-16 (NKJV): 'And you shall count for yourselves from the day after the Sabbath, from the day that you brought the sheaf of the wave offering: seven Sabbaths shall be completed. Count fifty days to the day after the seventh Sabbath; then you shall offer a new grain offering to YAHWEH.
